Camaro SS

Engine- 359ci LT1, splayed 4bolt,
eagle crank and rods, CP pistons, 8.6-1cr,
AFR heads, 218/218 hyd roller.
Driveline- G-force prepped T56, Mcleod
twin disc clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, Dennys
3.5in aluminum driveshaft, Currie 9in with
detroit true-trac, 31spline axles, functional
3 channel ABS, aluminum center section with
3.27 gears.
Chassis/brakes- Original level 2
bilstien suspension, along with spohn torque
arm and panhard rod, Baer track kit front
brakes, stainless steel brake lines and braided
hoses, PA K-member, wolfe 6pt bar, 1LE front
and rear control arms, 17x9.5 and 17x11 "SS"
wheels with 275 40 17front and 315 35 17 rear
tires.
Engine management/fuel system- BS3
engine management with Staged injection and
dual fuel systems. Stock tank/93 octane/walbro
255 feeds primary set of 42lb injectors. 7.8
gal fuel cell/110 octane race fuel/walbro
255 feeds secondary 42lb injectors when the
first set reaches 90% duty cycle. (at which
point fueling is shared equally between both
sets of injectors).
Turbo system- Unequal length 1 5/8
headers, twin Innovative dual ball bearing
GT61 turbos with p-trim .69 hot side. 3in
downpipes, 4in intermediate pipe, 3.5in SLP
two on the left exhaust. Twin Griffin intercoolers
mounted in front of the front tires. Innovative
multi-stage boost controller, twin Tial 38mm
wastegates with .9bar spring. All hot side
components ceramic coated, cold side components
powdercoated.
Misc- Star machine vacuum pump system.
A toggle switch on the dash switches between
the fuel pressure/fuel level sending units
of both fuel systems to the fuel pressure
gauge and fuel level gauge. (so both systems
can be monitored with one set of gauges).
All suspension components were powdercoated
or painted. Entire underbody/engine compartment
repainted.
Performance/driveability- The car
is ultra-quiet and has excellent driveability
due to the small hyd cam. It dynoed 855rwhp
@ 6,000 and 869rwtq @ 4,300 @21lbs
of boost through the SLP exhaust. This combination
has ran 9.6@146mph through the SLP exhaust,
and 9.7@149 through a 4in magnaflow exhaust
at about 3,750lb raceweight. All accessories
have been retained. ABS, power steering and
brakes, airbags, and Air conditioning, are
all functional. The dual fuel systems and
staged injection allow long range high boost
trips as pump premium is the primary.
